


























Far from Oman’s cities, towns and villages, the Musandam Peninsula is populated by cavernous fjords and craggy peaks, which reach expectantly towards the open skies.
When the sun is shining, the landscape presents a muted palette of deep browns, reds and blues. At dusk, a pre-show spectacle of shimmering pinks, oranges and purples illuminate the mountain tops, slowly giving way to reveal clusters of constellations — no longer overshadowed by the sun — twisting and twirling against a sheet of black.


Stargazing in Ras Amud is best enjoyed in quiet solitude, outside the haven of your room where the nightly revellers are full view.
