Born and raised in the Azores Islands, Vando has built an international career spanning 17 years. His experience includes working with leading luxury hospitality brands such as Six Senses and holding a Budget Analyst and Resource Advisor role with the U.S. Air Force. He has led revenue strategies and reservations teams across luxury hotel properties in Europe, Africa, and Asia and provided lectures at Escola de Turismo de Portugal. Alongside his work at Discover Collection, Vando is currently pursuing a master's degree in International Relations. He enjoys discovering new places, reading, and good food and wine.
