She has worked in beautiful hotels and resorts in Asia, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East for brands including IHG, Hilton, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas and Minor. Chunxia started her career in the spa and wellness industry in 2001 after graduating from Hainan University in China, majoring in Economics. Her first job happened to be at the largest indoor hot spring spa in Hainan. Chunxia worked for 17 years at Six Senses in both operations and corporate office. In her view, the nature and business models of the spa and wellness facilities vary from urban retreat, casino spa to resort spas, residential spas, and medical wellness clinics.
